I am Rafael de Carvalho. I write about platform engineering, cloud native systems, Kubernetes, developer experience, and the practical role of coding agents in modern software delivery.

My work sits between software delivery and the platforms that make delivery repeatable. I focus on the systems, workflows, and operating models that help engineering teams move faster without treating reliability, security, and operations as afterthoughts.

This blog is where I turn that work into clear notes: building internal platforms, shaping paved roads, improving developer experience, operating Kubernetes, and exploring how agentic engineering workflows can fit into real teams.

I am especially interested in agentic platforms: the infrastructure, guardrails, feedback loops, and product thinking required to make AI-assisted engineering useful in production environments. I care less about novelty for its own sake and more about whether these systems help teams ship better software with more confidence.
